JAWF, Jan. 06 (Saba) - The army's air defenses shot down on Wednesday afternoon a combat spy plane of " karayel" type belonging to the Saudi air force in the sky of Al-Mahashima area in Khub Washa`f district, east of Jawf province.
Spokesman of the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarei, said that the air defenses shot down the Kariyal plane with a suitable missile while it was carrying out hostile acts in the Yemeni airspace.
The operation is documented by the military media, he added.
