BRUSSELS April 20. 2024 (Saba) - European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell condemned the violence of extremist settlers in the West Bank, including East Quds, and stressed the need to hold the perpetrators accountable.
Borrell said in a post on the “X” platform, according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, that the European Union decided to impose sanctions on extremist settlers in the occupied West Bank and East Quds, due to serious human rights violations against the Palestinians.
Yesterday, Friday, the US Treasury Department announced that it had imposed sanctions on two entities that it said helped collect tens of thousands of dollars for two extremist colonists in the West Bank.
