TAIZ April 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Office in Taiz province on Wednesday provided Hajda and al-Nasr Hospitals in Shamir area and al-Muwaijer Health Center in Maqbana district, with medicines and medical supplies, provided by Qatar Red Crescent Society.
Health office director in Taiz Dr. Abdulmalik al-Mutawakel praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health, the interest of the governorate’s leadership, and the support of health work partners in supporting health facilities and improving medical and therapeutic services in accordance with the drawn up plans and the urgent priorities imposed by the necessary needs of the directorates.
Al-Mutawakel stressed the office’s keenness to work in accordance with the drawn up plans and programmes, ministerial directives, and the national vision for building the state in the equipment, construction, rehabilitation and restoration of health facilities, and in a manner consistent with quality standards and developing the capabilities of the medical staff. To meet citizens' need for health services.
In turn, the directors of the two hospitals and the targeted health center praised the efforts made by the health office in the governorate to improve the level of services provided to citizens despite the scarcity of capabilities and the continued siege.
