SANA'A April 27. 2024 (Saba) - The capital, Sana'a, witnessed the implementation of a number of models of Islamic landmarks and sanctities in Palestine, in an important step that confirms the presence and entrenchment of the Palestinian issue in the conscience of the Yemeni people.
The models built in the heart of the capital are considered a form of solidarity, support for the Palestinians, and an affirmation that the Yemeni leadership, government and people stand with the legitimate right of the Palestinians to establish their Palestinian state with Holy Al-Quds as its capital.
In the “formerly Al-Mesbahi” tour of Palestine, the Municipality of the Capital constructed a mock-up project of the map of Palestine, which includes a stone building ten and a half meters wide and nine meters high, in the middle of which there are visible spaces with aesthetic significance on which the map of Palestine is depicted from the river to the sea, including the names of Palestinian cities in an illuminated marble panel. It is supported by a wall of yajur, and on its sides are qamaris embossed with the Palestinian shal.
While Al-Aqsa Mosque model project is currently being implemented in the Al-Quds Bridge and Tunnel roundabout, “formerly an altar,” it includes a building made of balconies, with dimensions of nine meters by 21 metres, and an area of 160 metres, which embodies all the architectural elements of Al-Aqsa Mosque, including ashrabiyas, windows, openings, columns, and Islamic arches.
The project aims to consolidate awareness of the importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic heritage it represents that cannot be given up or its Judaization processes passed, as well as the categorical and eternal rejection of the project of normalization with the Zionist enemy, which some submissive and puppet Arab regimes are rushing towards.
These models highlight the depth of the Yemeni people’s intellectual, cultural and faith connection to the holy sites and the Palestinian cause, their standing by the Palestinian people , their valiant resistance in the face of terrorism practiced by the Zionist entity and its repeated attacks on Al-Aqsa and the holy sites.
The models in the heart of the capital, Sana'a, suggest that the compass is directed towards "Palestine", as a religious, moral and humanitarian commitment and a fixed principle in the conscience of the Yemeni leadership and people.
In a letter of thanks to the mayor of the capital, Abu Shamala confirmed that these monuments and models will contribute to consolidating the Palestinian cause and the sanctities of the Islamic nation in the souls and hearts of the proud Yemeni people who love Palestine and support its resistance.
He pointed out that these efforts indicate the great awareness of the Yemeni people , their wise leadership of the importance of the Palestinian cause , the necessity of advocating and supporting it at all levels.
While the representative of the Islamic Jihad movement, Ahmed Baraka, considered the construction of Palestinian sculptures in the capital, Sana’a, an important step that contributes to consolidating the Palestinian cause so that it remains alive in the conscience of the great Yemeni people.
