SANA'A April 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Acting Governor of Al-Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, today inaugurated the General Basic Certificate exams for the year 1445 AH in the governorate.
Al-Shaghdari, along with the governor’s representative, Dhaifullah Al-Dhiyani, and the director of the governorate’s education office, Mohsen Sufyan, reviewed the progress of the tests at Zaid centers in Mudmat and Amer in Jaban.
At the inauguration, the Acting Governor and the Deputy Governor considered holding the tests on time an image of steadfastness in the face of aggression and thwarting its plans against the nation... praising the steadfastness of the educational sector cadres and their efforts in the educational process despite the repercussions of the aggression.
They stressed their keenness to ensure the success of the general exams for the basic and secondary certificates, noting the efforts made to prepare for the exams.
Al-Shaghdari and Al-Dhayani urged the male and female students to persevere and strive to achieve the highest levels of excellence.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Education Office, Sufyan, explained that the number of students applying for the General Basic Certificate exams for the current year reached five thousand and 344 students, distributed among 61 centres. He pointed to the successes achieved by the process of implementing the general exams through automation.
In addition, the directors of Damt Sultan Fadel and Jaban Saleh Al-Ghurbani, during their inspection of the progress of the tests in a number of centers in the two directorates, appreciated the efforts of those in charge of the tests, stressing the importance of preparing the atmosphere for students to take their tests with ease.
