TAIZ April 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Public Health and Population Office in Taiz province supplied today,Sunday, 52 health facilities with medicines and medical supplies.
The distribution comes within the framework of the human capital project in the districts of Al-Ta'iziyah, Maqbana, Shara'b Al-Runa, Shara'b Al-Salam, Haifan, Mawiya, Al-Salw, Sam'a, and Salah, with the support of UNICEF.
Director of the Public Health and Population Office in the province, Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Mutawakel, explained that supplying health facilities with medicines and medical supplies will contribute to alleviating the suffering of patients who are unable to afford the value of medicine.
He stressed that the office, based on its responsibility and implementing the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Health Ministry , is concerned with services in the countryside.
Dr. Al-Mutawakkil pointed out that the health office in the province seeks to strengthen health services at the rural level to reach all citizens in all regions, especially in light of the current challenges that the country is going through.
He noted the efforts of the leadership of the local authority in the province to support health sector in the province.
