LONDON April 28. 2024 (Saba) - A human rights monitor on Sunday called on the international community to support the work of the International Criminal Court in its possible step by issuing arrest warrants for Zionist security and political leaders.
According to the Palestinian Media Center, the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement that the possible arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court come against the background of the crimes committed against the Palestinian people on the Occupied Palestinian territory since 1967.
It pointed out that the arrest warrants threaten senior Zionist officials, including enemy prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of war “Yoav Galant”, and chief of the General Staff “Herzeg Halevi".
The human Rights Watch warned against any attempts to obstruct the course of justice in light of the frequent talk of political pressure campaigns launched by the Zionist enemy and its allies, aiming at preventing the Criminal Court from issuing arrest warrants for Zionist officials.
The observatory called for countering any attempts to undermine the work of the International Criminal Court and harm its integrity and independence, and not seeking to put political interests above considerations of achieving international justice.
