BEIRUT April 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, on Tuesday destroyed a Zionist Merkava tank, killing and wounding its crew, and targeting a gathering of enemy soldiers on the northern border of occupied Palestine.
The Lebanese resistance said in a brief military statement: "After monitoring and following up the movement of a Zionist Merkava tank that was attacking our people and villages and barricaded itself inside the site of Metulla, our mujahideen surprised it and targeted it with guided missiles, which led to its injury and destruction and the fall of its crew members between dead and wounded."
In another separate statement, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that its jihadists targeted a position of Zionist enemy soldiers behind the military cadre inside the Metulla site with appropriate weapons, directly wounding it and killing and wounding its members.
It added that it had also targeted a building where Zionist enemy soldiers were stationed in the Avivim settlement with appropriate weapons and directly hit it.
