SANA'A May 2. 2024 (Saba) - Executive Committee for the Summer Courses of the Al-Wahda District in the Capital Secretariat, on Thursday, organized a visit for the students of Al-Nafs Al-Zakia Model Summer School to shrine and exhibition of martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square.
It also organized an entertainment trip for the school students to the zoo in Al-Sabeen District, as part of the plan and activities of the summer courses to expand the participants’ awareness and culture in various aspects.
While the students of Imam Al-Hadi Model School at Al-Balili Mosque in Al-Wahda District organized a cultural evening under the slogan “Education and Jihad.”
In the evening, which was attended by the Director of the Directorate, Sami Hamid, the Mobilization Officer, Abdullah Al-Dharafi, and the Unit’s Directors of Education, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shami and Al-Safiya Multaf Al-Matari, the speeches emphasized the importance of summer courses in raising children and young people and teaching them the Holy Quran and useful sciences.
They urged redoubling efforts and enhancing community awareness of the objectives of the summer courses and their various activities in refining students’ talents and skills in various creative fields, and protecting them from false cultures.
The evening, in the presence of leaders, educational cadres, notables, social figures, parents, and a group of members of the community, included singing, poetic, and theatrical performances for summer course students.
