VANCOUVER May 04. 2024 (Saba) - A group of human rights activists and the Mao Peace Organization held a protest in the Canadian city of Vancouver under the slogan (Raise the flag) in solidarity with Yemen and Gaza.
Demonstrators waved the flags of Yemen and Canada with banners calling for the lifting of the blockade on Gaza and an end to criminal attacks on Gaza.
They demanded the lifting of the blockade on Yemen and the cessation of US criminal attacks on Yemen.
Mrs. Alessen Bowden of Mao Sala said: "We went out today in Vancouver and most American and Canadian cities to stand on the highways so that our message and demands reach the Canadian and American people to stop the indiscriminate racist war on Gaza and stand with Yemen, which stands with Palestine with all sincerity and sincerity despite suffering from the siege and war for more than eight years."
She stressed that despite the conspiracy of America and Saudi Arabia against Yemen, where it suffers from the largest human tragedy in the history of the modern world, it did not delay in supporting its brothers in Gaza with courage and nobility in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, and returned ships from going to occupied Palestine.
She stressed that this courageous stance inspired millions of young people in Canada and America with this courageous, strong anti-imperialist and anti-American capitalist hegemonic stance, steadfast in the face of Zionist racism, changing the equation – the political equation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea – and its historical position that inspired us and ignited activity and enthusiasm in our hearts.
She pointed out that the demonstrators stood for long hours carrying flags and billboards to deliver their message to the largest number of Canadian citizens on their way back to their homes and raised their voices with slogans from the top of bridges.
Demanding an end to the war and attacks on both Gaza and Yemen and the lifting of the siege on the two countries.
