RAMALLAH May 06. 2024 (Saba) -The Zionist enemy forces, From yesterday evening until Monday morning, launched a campaign of arrests that targeted at least 15 Palestinian citizens from the occupied West Bank, including former prisoners.
The Prisoners' Club and the Prisoners' Affairs Authority said in a joint statement that the arrest operations were distributed across the governorates of Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Jericho, and Salfit, accompanied by severe beatings and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes.
The statement added that the occupation forces continue to storm Tulkarm city and its camp, since yesterday hours, and we were not able to know the cases of arrest, due to the continuation of the military operation.
It continued that the total number of arrests after October 7 rose to about (8,590), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
