TAIZ May 06. 2024 (Saba) - Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Musawa, discussed today, Monday, with the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals - Acting Executive Director of the Yemen Gas Company, Yasser Al-Wahidi, the rationing situation of gas in the province.
The meeting, which was attended by the Assistant of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Nour Al-Din Al-Marani, the Governor’s Undersecretary, Muhammad Al-Husseini, and the Director of the province’s Security, Brigadier General Ahmed Madaes, stressed the importance of controlling gas prices at gas stations in the province’s directorates on an urgent basis, adhering to the official price issued by the Yemeni Gas Company, arresting violators and manipulators of weights or those who do so. By hiding the material or leaking it to stations other than officially approved stations.
The Acting Governor expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the leadership of the Yemen Gas Company and its role in providing gas on an ongoing basis to Taiz province at the approved official prices.
He stressed the keenness to address the problem of gas in the districts of Haifan, Taiz, and Al-Qubaita, Lahj, and solve any problems in this aspect, expressing the readiness of the province leadership to cooperate with the gas company to facilitate any obstacles or difficulties facing the work of supplying the province with this vital substance.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals - Acting Executive Director of the Yemen Gas Company confirmed that the company is making every effort to provide gas to all citizens across the provinces of the Republic.
He stressed the need for everyone to carry out their role in working with complete honesty and credibility, ensuring the equitable distribution of gas, in a way that serves the citizen and alleviates his suffering.
