AMRAN May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jaman, along with the Governor’s Deputy, Amin Faras, and the Director of the Education Office, Zaid Rittas, today inspected the progress of summer activities and courses in Raydah District.
They, along with the director of the branch of the General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs’ Families, Ibrahim Al-Nono, and the director of the directorate, Aqeel Al-Sharif, were briefed on the progress of summer activities in the martyr Imam Hussein bin Al-Qasim model “boarding” schools at the directorate’s center, the martyr Hani Tomer, the martyr Commander Beit Sayel, and the martyrs of Al-Qahum family, Beit Al-Qahum.
The governor listened to an explanation from those in charge of the summer courses about the programs that the students receive and the extent of their interest and interaction with their activities. The visitors also listened to examples of the students’ creativity in the field of Qur’an recitation, chants, and public speaking.
Governor Jaman and Undersecretary Faras pointed out the importance of implementing summer courses and activities to provide students with useful religious sciences and sports, artistic, and creative skills in various fields.
They stressed the need for young people to have such courses that are based on Quranic culture and introduce them to the values and principles of the true religion and the dangers of intellectual and cultural invasion that aims to domesticate the people of the nation and distort religious identity.
They urged those in charge of the summer courses to make more efforts to provide students with skills and knowledge that will benefit them and expand their understanding in accordance with the plans and activities of the summer schools to embody the faith identity.
While the Director of Education, Rattas, and the Director of the Directorate, Sharif, pointed out the importance of summer activities in enhancing the skills of students enrolled in schools, praising the efforts of teachers in summer schools and the level of student interest there.
They were accompanied during the visit by leaders and social figures in the directorate.
