CAPE TOWN May 07. 2024 (Saba) -The Republic of South Africa confirmed that the Zionist enemy army’s attack on Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, will destroy the last shelter for survivors in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa, in a statement today, Tuesday, expressed its feeling of “astonishment” at the order issued by the Zionist enemy authorities to evacuate Rafah with excessive force, in preparation for its invasion by land.
It noted that the South African government feels “deeply disturbed” by the developments in the Gaza Strip.
It said: We are horrified and surprised by Israel's announcement of the necessity of evacuating Rafah immediately through excessive force.
It pointed out that the Zionist move aims to displace citizens in Gaza, in a scene that contradicts international law, stressing that this matter cannot be justified by any military necessity.
It stressed that Rafah has become a "temporary shelter" for the displaced after the aggression on the Gaza Strip, depriving them of food and medical services.
On Monday, the Zionist enemy army announced the start of a military operation in Rafah, which it claimed was “limited in scope,” and issued warnings to 100,000 citizens to “forcibly evacuate” the east of the city and head to Al-Mawasi area, southwest of the Gaza Strip.
