SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba) – Minster of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on Thursday met here in the capital Sanaa with the visiting member of the British House of Commons, Andrew Mitchell.

During the meeting, Mitchell briefed Sharaf on the results of his three-day official visit to Yemen and the inspection visits he carried out to closely inspect the destruction inflicting the Yemeni people from the ongoing Saudi-led aggression war and their all-out blockade that caused humanitarian disaster and famine in many regions of Yemen.

Mitchell had visited the governorates of Hodeida and Saa'da and other areas, where he closely inspected the tragic situation that inflicted the citizens, their houses and properties, as well as public infrastructure.

During his visit, Mitchell listened to the citizens who expressed all refusal to the Saudi aggression war and demanded a just peace that preserve their honor, stability and security of Yemen.

Meanwhile, minister Sharaf thanked Mitchell for his all peace-seeking efforts and welcomed all international peace initiatives that can secure a comprehensive peace for all Yemenis.

Sharaf said goodbye to Mitchell, wishing that the visits and efforts of the members of the British House of Commons to continue to help end the war since March 2015 against Yemen and achieve a just, peaceful and political settlement in Yemen.
