GAZA April 18. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Civil Defense announced on Thursday the completion of the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy army from the north of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, leaving a number of martyrs after a military operation that lasted eight continuous days.

The Civil Defense said in a statement carried by the Palestinian Information Center: "After the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy forces from northern Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, the Civil Defense crews were able to recover a number of martyrs, and there are still many martyrs under the rubble and rubble have not yet been removed."

The statement stressed the need for the Palestinian Civil Defense for "heavy excavation equipment and mechanisms" so that it can search for the bodies of martyrs and exhume them.

In turn, the mayor of Nuseirat said that the Zionist aggression deprived the people of Nuseirat of the most basic humanitarian services such as water and sanitation.

In press statements, the mayor called on the international community to provide the necessary needs of the population, especially the fuel needed to operate water wells and sewage pumps.

The Zionist enemy army radio had announced that the occupation army "ended last night the raid that targeted the outskirts of the Nuseirat camp."

On Wednesday evening, the government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the operation of the Zionist enemy army in Nuseirat resulted in 520 martyrs, wounded and missing within a week.

The office added: "During the Zionist aggression, 75 martyrs and 348 wounded who arrived at hospitals within a week were raised, while 100 citizens were declared missing in the mentioned areas, and they have not yet been reached, especially in Al-Mughraqa."

During this aggression, the enemy army "destroyed 14 towers, residential buildings and dozens of homes belonging to citizens displaced by the occupation from their towers, residential buildings and homes, under the threat of aircraft and tank shells", he said.

Since the seventh of October, the Zionist enemy has waged a devastating war on Gaza, which has left more than 100,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

The Zionist enemy continues the war despite a Security Council resolution to immediately cease fire, as well as despite her appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of "genocide".
