Meeting in Sana'a discusses implementation level of 1445 projects & previous years

SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a province headed today, Wednesday, by the Governor's Local Secretary General Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, discussed implementation level of the province's plan projects for the year 2021 AD.

The plan included 247 projects at a cost of three billion, 576 million and 906 thousand riyals, distributed in the areas of agriculture, community initiatives, roads, institutional building, social and service building, in addition to other areas. The completed projects from the plan amounted to 168 projects, three semi-completed projects, 17 projects under implementation and six projects. Unimplemented projects.

The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration for Local Plans and Budgets Sector, Muhammad Al-Sanhani, the Undersecretary of the province for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, the province Advisor, Abdullah Al-Marouni, and the directors of the executive offices and relevant directorates, reviewed the province’s plan projects for the year 1444 AH.

It reached 286 projects at a cost of six billion, 465 million and 686 thousand riyals. In various sectors, 199 projects were completed, six projects were semi-completed, 23 projects were under implementation, 21 projects were not implemented, and 37 projects were approved for transfer.

The meeting approved obligating the directors of the concerned offices, in coordination with the Planning and Finance Offices, to prepare a detailed report on the approved, implemented, ongoing and unimplemented projects , initiatives, the difficulties facing the work, , proposals to address and overcome them.

At the meeting, the province's local secretary-general stressed the local authority's leadership's keenness to implement service projects that meet the essential needs of citizens.

While the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration pointed out the importance of liquidating the province’s annual development plan projects and preparing an integrated report on the nature and status of each project separately, so that deficiencies and difficulties can be identified and addressed.
