IBB April 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Fisheries Wealth Office in Ibb Province destroyed 1,600 kilograms of fish unfit for human consumption in the wholesale market in the province center.
During the destruction, the director of the province’s fish wealth office, Radwan Al-Maliki, explained that the office’s inspection team investigated and controlled the amount of spoiled fish as a result of poor storage , random marketing, and signed reports of its destruction.
He stressed the continuation of monitoring and inspection of trucks, fish markets and shops to ensure consumer protection, to arrest violators and non-compliance with the safety conditions of fish products.
