SANA'A, June 06 (Saba) - Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammad al-Houthi met here on Sunday with representative of the Palestinian movement Hamas in Yemen Moath Abu Shamala.
In the meeting, al-Houthi confirmed the Yemeni people's interaction to support the Palestinian cause in response to the call of the leader of the revolution Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
He talked about the interest of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government in the Palestinian cause as it is the central cause of the nation.
Al-Houthi asked Abu Shamala to convey his greetings to head of the Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh.
For his part, Abu Shamala conveyed the greetings of Hamas leadership to the Yemeni leadership, represented by Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
He affirmed the movement highly appreciated the initiative launched by the leader of the revolution and the interaction of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.
He stressed that resistance is the correct way to liberate Palestine.
At the end of the meeting, Abu Shamala presented the shield of Hamas to Mohammad al-Houthi in recognition of his support to the Palestinian cause.
