BEIRUT, May. 17 (Saba) -Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Monday addressed the military and congratulated soldiers on their achievement providing security and order during the electoral process.
General Aoun said, “It was the efforts that you’ve exerted and the responsibility that you’ve assumed, which provided a safe atmosphere to hold elections and to swiftly and professionally resolve problems”.
“Thanks to you, the democratic picture of this day has been completed. You have proven, once again, that you are worthy of trust, respect, and appreciation thanks to your will, steadfastness, and confidence in your institution and in your country,” the Army Commander concluded.
