Al-Quds December 22. 2022 (Saba) - Extremist settlers stormed Thursday morning the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque from Mughrabi Gate under the strict protection of the Zionist enemy police on the fifth day of the so-called Hebrew "Hanukkah" holiday.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied al-Quds stated that dozens of settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque since morning, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and received explanations about the alleged "temple".
It explained, according to the Palestinian news agency "Safa" that the raiders performed Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of al-Aqsa and the eastern side of it, under strict protection from the occupation forces, and they also performed provocative dances at the gates of the mosque.
The Department indicated that the enemy forces continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers to al-Aqsa and withheld their personal identities at its external gates, and prevented the entry of some of them.
Mrs. Nafisa Khuwais performed the prayer at the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque after the enemy forces prevented her from entering it.
On Wednesday evening, the enemy authorities removed al-Aqsa guard Mahmoud Abu Kharoub from the mosque for a week, subject to renewal, noting that they arrested him in the morning from the mosque.
On Wednesday, the settlers collectively performed the so-called "epic prostration" in the eastern region of al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to performing Talmudic rituals at al-Buraq Wall, and dancing and singing near the mosque's gates.
The Palestinian calls continued for the need to mobilize widely and bind al-Aqsa Mosque, and to participate extensively in the Great Dawn Campaign in the mosque tomorrow, Friday to thwart all the plans of the Zionist enemy and its settlers.
Every day, except for Friday and Saturday, al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of settler raids, as part of the enemy’s attempts to divide it temporally and spatially, while the pace of raids escalates during Jewish holidays, and is punctuated by attacks on worshipers and stationed, and deportations from the mosque.
