SANA'A March 12. 2023 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor affirmed that the Palestinian issue was and will remain present in the conscience of the Arab and Islamic nation, while the term normalization is intruder to the nation and is rejected by all its free people.

This came during a meeting with the Prime Minister today, acting representative of Hamas in Yemen, Moath Abu Shamala, in the presence of the two Deputy Prime Ministers for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, and for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, Minister of State Ahmed Al-Ali and Director of the Prime Minister's Office, Taha Al-Sufiani.

The Prime Minister praised the well-known militant role of Hamas and the various free Palestinian organizations in resisting the Zionist occupation and its projects that target the security and safety of the region and its people.

He reaffirmed the principled position of the Yemeni people in advocating the Palestinian cause and supporting the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.

Prime Minister Abu Shamala conveyed the greetings of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, his Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, to the leadership of the movement in Palestine.

In turn, Abu Shammala conveyed the greetings of Hamas leader Haniyeh to the Yemeni leadership, government and people. He valued the honorable and advanced positions of Yemen at the official and popular levels in support of the Palestinian cause in the various stages of the conflict with the Zionist entity.

He reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, the current events in the West Bank and the Holy City of Al-Quds, and the recent heroic operations against the Zionist entity, and the confusion and exposure they caused to the Zionist security system, which the enemy has always boasted of.

He said, "We feel in Yemen that we are among our people, through what we see of embracing the Palestinian people and their cause and standing by them, at a time when we see many Arab regimes rushing to normalize relations with the Zionist enemy, and achieve its ambitions in the region."

At the end of the meeting, Abu Shammala handed the movement's shield to the Prime Minister, in appreciation and gratitude for his efforts and positions in support of the Palestinian cause.
