SANA'A May 03, 2023 (Saba) -Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Vice-Chairman of the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, confirmed that Al-Dhalea Governorate presented a successful model in construction and development, and it will lead the battle of victory in terms of development and agriculture, just as it fought it militarily.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture indicated, during the workshop on preparing an executive matrix for the directives of the Leader of the Revolution to reform the agricultural and developmental aspect and activate development partners, in Al-Dhalea, that this governorate is proactive in implementing community initiatives, especially in the field of road projects, which reached 100 percent with a community contribution and billions of riyals.
He explained the importance of the workshop, in which 50 leaders and directors of directorates and executive offices, supervisors and directors of agricultural branches in the governorate’s directorates participated, and its role in discussing the mechanism for implementing the directives of the leader of the revolution and how to translate them into practical plans and programs according to the methodology of development work and the agricultural revolution.
Al-Rubai pointed out the importance of implementing these awareness workshops, which come within the framework of the Qur'anic project based on construction, development and the acquisition of the necessary sustenance for self-reliance.
He said, "Our Qur'anic project is based on construction and development. As for the experience presented by the mercenaries of aggression, it contains humiliation, slavery and submissiveness. Therefore, we will work together in Al-Dhalea governorate on community and institutional building, benefiting from available resources and capabilities, self-reliance and owning our strength."
Al-Rubai added, "We will proceed from this workshop and its outputs in the agricultural and developmental aspects from the standpoint of my faith and jihad, and just as we strived for God's sake on the military side, we will also strive for His sake on the agricultural and developmental sides."
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture stressed the need for the directives of the leader of the revolution to be the basis for all agricultural, developmental and economic policies to advance the reality and future of the country.
He said, "If we follow these directives, our path will not deviate, and we will build our country, and we will present a lofty model to the region and to all countries of the world, which is a strong message that today we are ready to fight the battle of self-sufficiency, whatever the challenges."
