SANA'A July 01. 2023 (Saba)-A meeting held today at Sana'a International Airport, chaired by the Transport Minister of Abdul Wahhab Al-Durra, affirmed that opening the airport is a right for the Yemeni people, and not an honor from anyone, in accordance with international laws, charters and agreements.
The meeting, which was attended by the President of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Qader, the authority’s agent, Raed Jabal, the deputy director of Sana’a Airport, Awsan Jarallah Omar, and the security and technical authorities operating at the airport, stressed the necessity of scheduling the additional flights agreed upon to brotherly Jordan on a regular and permanent basis, so that travelers can book easily, whether inside the country or outside of patients, expatriates, students and others.
It pointed out the importance of opening the destinations of Cairo and India after completing the return trips of pilgrims to the Sacred House of God.

After that, he, along with the head of the Civil Aviation Authority and the representative of the authority, inspected the facilities of Sana'a airport, and were briefed on the preparations for the return of the pilgrims.
Minister Al-Durra conveyed the congratulations and blessings of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to the workers at the Sana'a airport facilities on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
He stressed the interest in Sana'a International Airport and the relentless pursuit to open it completely without restriction or condition, as it is a right of the Yemeni people and is linked to the humanitarian aspect.
