GENEVA December 14. 2023 (Saba) - The United Nations warned on Thursday that the dumping of the tunnels of Hamas in Gaza by forces of the Zionist enemy would have long-term consequences for human rights.
According to Russia Today, United Nations Human Rights Office spokesman Jeremy Laurence said in remarks: "We are concerned about a number of negative human rights impacts that will result from the infusion of tons of saltwater underground, and much of these consequences will be long-term."
Laurence stressed the need for Zionist enemy forces to follow and abide by international laws during their operations inside the Gaza Strip.
Military attacks must not affect basic life facilities essential for civilians' survival and disruption, or cause widespread and long-term environmental damage.
