BAGHDAD December 15. 2023 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced yesterday its adoption of targeting the American occupation base in Al-Shaddadi, south of the Syrian city of Al-Hasakah.
Al-Mayadeen Channel quoted the Islamic Resistance in a statement published saying that “the targeting of the American occupation base in Al-Shaddadi comes in response to the enemy’s crimes in the Gaza Strip,” revealing that the targeting was carried out by drone, and that the base was directly hit.
It is noteworthy that the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced, that the American occupation bases in Al-Tanf and the Rukban camp in Syria were targeted with drones, confirming that they were directly hit.
Al-Mayadeen confirmed that the American military base in the Koniko gas field, north of Deir ez-Zor, was targeted for the second time in less than an hour.
It is noteworthy that the resistance has targeted American bases in Syria and Iraq dozens of times, since it began its response to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, using rocket shells, drones, and short-range ballistic missiles.
