AMRAN December 30. 2023 (Saba) - A meeting in Amran Governorate on Saturday, headed by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman, discussed the procedures for implementing community initiative projects in the governorate’s districts.
The meeting, which included directors of the Offices of Works, Community Initiatives Department, and the Executive and Financial Unit, reviewed the governorate’s plan to support efforts to implement community initiative projects and approve studies in the targeted rural areas.
At the meeting, Governor Jaman stressed the concerted efforts to support and encourage initiatives to support official efforts in implementing projects that meet the needs of citizens.
He stressed the support of the local authority leadership for initiatives that would mobilize the community’s role to bring about a development shift in the service sectors.
Governor Jaman touched on the societal issues that hinder the implementation of community initiatives and ways to address them in various directorates, including the Al-Souda and Ayal Serih districts.
He pointed out the keenness of the governorate leadership and the local authority to resolve outstanding social issues among citizens, thus contributing to enhancing security and stability and continuing efforts to improve service conditions.
The meeting was attended by a number of social figures.
