RAMALLAH April 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced in a joint report today that the enemy forces arrested, from Friday evening until Saturday morning, at least 20 Palestinians, in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, including a woman and children, in addition to former prisoners.
The report indicated that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarem, Jenin and occupied al-quds, accompanied by widespread abuse against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalizing and destroying citizens' homes, and confiscating vehicles.
According to the report, the toll of arrests has risen since October 7 to about 8,480, noting that this toll includes those arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who had to surrender under pressure, and those who were taken hostage.
It includes data related to the cases of detention of those who were kept detained by the occupation, and who were later released.
It is noteworthy that the West Bank is witnessing daily clashes, especially since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, as its towns and cities are subjected to daily incursions interspersed with widespread arrest campaigns, while martyrs rise and others are injured by the fire of the occupation during their confrontation.
