MOSCOW April 28. 2024 (Saba) -While it would be different, Moscow's response to US seizure of Russian assets will not be less painful, deputy chairman of the Russian security council wrote on 'Telegram' on Sunday.

Because of the little assets of US government in Russia, the Russian response will include American nationals and their properties, Dmitry Medvedev added, in comment to US new act on Russian assets seizure.

"Their country declared hybrid war, including legal and judicial war, and issued a mechanism of illegal seizure of Russian properties, in full contrast with international law and our national regulations, and we should respond," he argued, according to Novosti.

Based on its judicial mandate, Russia may seize individuals' properties, funds, assets and titles, he added, noting that the step would be difficult, as these individuals were investors in Russian economy, but their country unexpectedly "declared hybrid war against us."
