SANA'A April 30. 2024 (Saba) - Summer schools are the most appropriate and safe place to protect children, protect them during their free time, enlighten them with Quranic culture, and aim to prepare them properly in various fields.
The summer courses in all the directorates of Hodeida Governorate this year are distinguished by an educational strategy in the way of proper preparation of youth and youth in accordance with the Qur’anic curriculum and the principles of the true religion to build a generation armed with knowledge, insight and religious awareness.
The interest at the official and societal levels in summer courses to benefit from the activities they contain embodies the level of concern to protect children from Western and foreign intrusions and cultures, and to keep them away from the dangers of moral deviation, religious distortion.
Demand level in schools:
Model and open summer schools in Hodeida Governorate receive wide attention and witness a large demand for learning useful sciences and culture and building the emotional and cognitive behavior of children.
These efforts, in addition to community awareness and the strategy of the Central Committee’s plan for summer courses, culminate in increasing the number of students enrolled in the various directorates.
According to preliminary indicators of enrollment in these courses, the number of male and female students during the first week reached more than 55,000 male and female students in more than 800 schools, and the number is expected to exceed more than 100,000.
Noble goals:
The noble goal of the summer courses is to consolidate identity, national belonging, and correct concepts and ideas, raise the generation with Quranic education, and instill faith-based behaviors.
Among these goals is paying attention to Quranic culture, and providing those enrolled with religious knowledge, linguistic skills, and general culture.
The revolutionary leadership, which is keen on the summer courses, aims to prepare a generation fit to serve the homeland and the nation by consolidating the principles and culture of the Qur’an and the values of religious and national affiliation.

Summer courses are an opportunity for children to learn usefully during the school vacation, and a road map within a correct educational strategy to protect them from loss and develop their awareness by exploiting vacation time to enhance their abilities, talents, and scientific and cultural knowledge.
Compared to previous years, summer schools are witnessing an increasing demand due to growing awareness of their importance in containing students and protecting them from emptiness during vacation.
Through the summer courses, the state seeks to establish sound building blocks for the future of generations, upon which the nation can be built according to the methodology of the Qur’an.

The Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Qahim, considered the large turnout for summer courses to be a culmination of the level of awareness of their importance and the efforts made to make the central plan of the Supreme Committee for summer courses a success.
He noted the importance these courses represent for graduating future generations, generations of the Qur’an, on whom the leadership and all Yemenis rely to be the nation’s pioneers and leaders.
Governor Qahim expressed his pride in the level of momentum enjoyed by summer courses and activities this year.
For his part, the first deputy governor of the governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, noted that the smear campaigns and rumors spread by the enemies of Islam and Yemen come from their fear of the fruits of these courses, indicating that incitement campaigns occur every year in conjunction with the inauguration of the summer courses.
He praised the vision and wisdom of the leader of the revolution, al-Sayeed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the keenness of the Supreme Political Council and the efforts of all parties that contribute effectively to linking students to summer courses.
The governor's first deputy appreciated the active role of the community and parents of students who rush to register their children in summer courses at various age levels.
For his part, the official responsible for the summer courses in the governorate, Mahmoud Al-Washli, explained that the current year’s plan is full of many cultural, religious and diverse activities to achieve the goal of using the holiday positively.
He noted that the increase in the number of people enrolled in the courses is a result of the awareness of parents and community leaders of their importance and their role in fortifying children and preparing them culturally and religiously.
