BEIRUT April 30. 2024 (Saba) -Lebanon's Islamic resistance, Hezbollah, on Tuesday claimed responsibility for targeting Zionist sites in Matallah settlement, north the occupied lands of Palestine directly hitting the targets.

The mujahedeen targeted buildings where enemy soldiers positioned, Hezbollah said in a statement, in reprisal to Zionist assaults against southern villages and civil homes.

Hezbollah statement comes after 'Yedioth Ahronoth' had quoted regional council in the Upper Galilee as saying "anti-armor missiles were fired from South Lebanon and hit Matallah settlement."

Earlier, Israeli war planes launched two airstrikes targeting al-Maslakh quarter in al-Khiam town, and artillery bombing targeted southern edges of the same town, according to the Lebanese news agency.
