HAGUE April 30. 2024 (Saba) - The International Court of Justice, the highest judicial body of the United Nations, is scheduled to issue its decision on Tuesday in a lawsuit filed by Nicaragua against Germany, accusing the latter of violating the 1948 Genocide Convention by supplying the Zionist enemy entity (Israel) with weapons to bomb Gaza.
Nicaragua, a Central American country, has asked the International Court of Justice in The Hague to impose emergency measures so that Berlin stops supplying Israel with weapons.
Nicaragua has criticized Germany for its support for Israel, saying that providing weapons to the Zionist government, while at the same time providing aid to Gaza, is "unfortunate and despisive."
Nicaragua also requested five temporary measures, most notably that "Germany immediately suspend its assistance to Israel, especially military, including military equipment."
