IBB May 02. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Ibb province today,Tuesday, headed by the Secretary-General of the province’s Local Council, Amin Al-Warafi, discussed cleaning progress and improvement work in the province’s centers and districts.
The meeting, which included the director of the province’s hygiene fund, Engineer Salim Al-Bahm, his deputy, Muhammad Rashid Al-Mansoub, and the heads of sectors and regions, touched on the progress of implementing direct waste removal within the framework of the fourth region with community participation.
The Secretary-General of the local province stressed the need to intensify efforts to improve cleaning, improvement and resource development services, urging the importance of doubling efforts to become a model province in preserving the environment.
The Fund Director presented a report on the activities and tasks carried out in the hygiene, improvement sectors, and the efforts made to develop the level of performance.
Engineer Al-Bahm touched on what has been accomplished in the field of technical studies for improvement projects in the roundabouts and streets of Ibb city.
Following the meeting, the local authority leadership and the Cleaning Fund honored the President of the Fourth Region, Majid Al-Bukhaiti, in recognition of his efforts to achieve a shift in the field of cleanliness and improvement in the region.
