RAMALLAH May 2. 2024 (Saba) -Since Wednesday evening, until Thursday morning, the Zionist enemy forces arrested at least 15 Palestinian citizens from the occupied West Bank, including a woman from Ramallah who was arrested as a hostage, in addition to former prisoners.
The Palestinian News Agency “WAFA” quoted the Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Prisoners’ Club, saying: The arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Tulkarm and Quds, accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, in addition to widespread operations of sabotage and destruction in citizens' homes.
They pointed out that the total number of arrests after October 7 rose to about 8,550, including those who were arrested from homes and at military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
The Zionist enemy forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the Zionist enemy and those who were later released.
