SANA'A May 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, expressed the appreciation of the Sana'a government for the position of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria towards the Palestinian cause, which has been rooted for decades.

In a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, the Foreign Minister said that the position of the Republic of Algeria towards the Palestinian cause confirms its constant keenness to have this issue strongly present in all international forums.

He praised Algeria's courageous stance towards the Palestinian cause and the suffering of the Palestinian people for more than seven decades, particularly through its membership in the Security Council.

Minister Sharaf reiterated that all commercial ships sail safely in the Arabian and Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, except those owned by the Zionist enemy entity or heading to Palestinian ports.

He stated that prevention and escalation are linked to ending the Zionist aggression and its crimes in the Gaza Strip and the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, medicine and fuel to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
