SANA'A May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) condemned and denounced the Zionist entity’s decision to close the Al Jazeera channel office and prevent it from media coverage. Continuing to deliberately target the Palestinian media since October 7, 2023 AD.
The Union confirmed in a statement - received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) - that this intransigent and repressive decision is a blatant targeting of all media crews and offices in solidarity with the Palestinian cause located in the territories occupied by the Israeli enemy.
YMU confirmed that the voice of the Palestinian cause will remain loud no matter how arrogant the Zionist aggression tries to silence the media. An attempt to obscure and isolate the Palestinian issue and prevent the events from reaching Arab and international public opinion.
It praised the role of the resistance media, which played a pivotal role in exposing these brutal massacres.
YMU called on all media professionals, free , honorable people around the world, the international community and all human rights organizations to carry out their duty in protecting the media, preserving freedom of the press, stopping the bleeding of Palestinian blood, and criminalizing the massacres of the Zionist enemy demanding an end to the aggression and bringing the killers to justice.
