GAZA May 06. 2024 (Saba) - The death toll of journalists in Gaza rose on Monday to 142 martyrs since the seventh of last October, after the death of photojournalist Mustafa Ayad in a Zionist bombing that targeted his home in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
According to Palestine Online, the government media office in Gaza said in a statement that "the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 142 since the start of the genocidal war on the Strip, after the rise of fellow photojournalist Mustafa Ayad."
Ayad worked as a photojournalist for several media outlets, he said, adding that he was killed during enemy shelling of the Zeitoun neighbourhood south of Gaza City.

The martyr Ayad was injured after being targeted by a Zionist reconnaissance plane, and was transferred to the Baptist Hospital and was martyred after confirming that he was injured in the brain, heart and liver.
Enemy forces continue this war despite an immediate UN Security Council resolution and despite their first appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of "genocide".
