SANA'A May 07. 2024 (Saba) - Today's meeting, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Administration for the Control Sector and Administrative Units Affairs, Jamal Al-Alawi, discussed the results of field visits to governorates and districts.
The meeting, which included cadres and employees of the sector, dealt with many topics within the framework of the tasks and competencies of the oversight sector, and how to improve the provision of services and simplify procedures for citizens in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.
In the meeting, the Undersecretary stressed the need to intensify efforts and follow up the governorates and directorates to work in accordance with the agreed mechanism during the field visit to see the level of performance and work with the local authority's information systems and submit the necessary proposals to improve work.
He also stressed the importance of following up on the governorates that did not provide the ministry with the semi-annual performance evaluation reports, provided that it is in accordance with the form prepared and approved by the ministry, while making sure to fill out the evaluation form.
Al-Alawi urged to intensify efforts to follow up on the leaders of administrative units regarding their cooperation and support for the success of summer activities and courses.
