GAZA May 07. 2024 (Saba) - The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, confronted the Zionist enemy forces penetrating east of Rafah, targeting a tank, clashing with its soldiers, and destroying the crowds with rockets.
Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement: The Qassam Mujahideen were able to target a Zionist tank of the type "Merkvah" with the "Yassin 105" shell, catch fire and clash with soldiers holed up inside a building near it in the Al-Shoka neighborhood, east of Rafah.
In another communiqué, the al-Qassam Brigades announced the bombardment of enemy concentrations east of Rafah with the 114mm short-range rocket system "Rajum".
It also announced the bombardment of enemy forces at the Kerem Shalom military site with the 114mm short-range Rajum rocket system.
The Qassam Brigades destroyed enemy forces penetrating east of the Rafah crossing with high-calibre mortars.
