GAZA May 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed that the announcement of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip about the discovery of seven mass graves inside the hospitals of the Gaza Strip so far, the latest of which is the announcement today of the discovery of a new mass grave in Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the third in the same hospital, is new evidence of the brutality committed by the criminal occupation army in its systematic aggression against our people and the medical sector.
The movement said in a statement on Wednesday: The Zionist enemy aims from these crimes to destroy the necessities of life to achieve the plan of extermination and displacement sought by the Nazi enemy.
It stressed that the successive discovery of these mass graves in hospitals, from which medical teams have recovered the bodies of 520 martyrs so far, requires the international community and the United Nations to take all measures to stop this brutal aggression against the Palestinian people, which has exceeded the limits of human imagination.
It also called on international human rights bodies and all concerned institutions to document these crimes, and to submit them to the International Criminal Court and other competent courts to hold this rogue entity and its criminal leaders accountable.
The government media office in Gaza had earlier announced that medical teams were able to find a third mass grave inside Shifa Hospital, from which 49 martyrs have been recovered so far, and the recovery process is still ongoing.
The office confirmed in a statement that a third mass grave was found inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex. Announcing the recovery of 49 bodies so far from the third cemetery, government teams continue to recover more bodies so far, and have not finished the recovery operations, expecting to find dozens of new bodies.
