GAZA May 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced that its mujahideen were able to detonate a booby-trapped tunnel in a Zionist engineering force consisting of three vehicles, an excavator and a number of soldiers, killing and wounding them east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The brigades said in a statement on Thursday: They targeted two Zionist vehicles penetrating south of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City with a "Al-Yassin 105" shell and a "Shawaz" canister.
The Qassam Brigades also targeted a Zionist D9 bulldozer with a Tandome shell southeast of the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.
The battalions confirmed that they had destroyed enemy forces penetrating east of Rafah city with mortars.
For the 216th consecutive day, the Zionist enemy army continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, as its warplanes bomb the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers and homes of Palestinian civilians and destroy them over the heads of their inhabitants, preventing the entry of water, food, medicine and fuel.
