MOSCOW May 10. 2024 (Saba) -The Russian State Duma revealed on Friday that President Vladimir Putin has proposed Mikhail Mishustin as the nominee for prime minister to the Council.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin conveyed via Telegram, "President Vladimir Putin has submitted Mikhail Mishustin's name as the nominee for prime minister to the State Duma."

Following President Vladimir Putin's inauguration on May 7, the cabinet under the leadership of Mikhail Mishustin resigned.

The State Duma is slated to vote on Mishustin's nomination during its plenary session on Friday.
