HODEIDA May 12. 2024 (Saba) - A team from the International Red Cross(ICRC) visited today, Sunday, the crew of the Israeli ship "Galaxy Leader" in the Red Sea.
The team reviewed the condition of the ship's crew, who confirmed to the media that they are in good condition and receiving humane and sophisticated treatment in accordance with the teachings and values of the Islamic religion.
The visiting team explained that it met the crew of the Israeli ship in the Red Sea and was informed of the conditions of its members, indicating that the visit comes within the framework of the humanitarian missions of the Red Cross , to learn about the conditions and circumstances of the detainees.
The Red Cross team expressed its thanks and appreciation to the authorities in Sana'a for overcoming its tasks by visiting the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship to check on their humanitarian conditions.
The ship's crew assured the Red Cross team that they were receiving good care and treatment and were communicating with their families via video, and they hoped to stop the war on Gaza in order to release them.
They were accompanied during the visit by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency, Saba, the Editor-in-Chief, Nasr al-Din Amer, a number of media representatives, and a number of naval forces officers.
