GAZA July 2. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist army on Tuesday said an officer and a soldier were killed in an explosion in the Netzarim Corridor, south of Gaza City.
First Sergeant Nadav Nollar from the 8th Brigade and First Lieutenant Eyal Avignon, deputy platoon commander in the same brigade, were killed, and a third soldier was seriously injured in an explosion inside the Netzarim Corridor, the enemy army added in a statement.
Meanwhile, Zionist sources said that the two soldiers were killed when an explosive device exploded at an Israeli enemy army vehicle.
The sources indicated that ten soldiers and officers were injured in the event, some of them seriously.
The Zionist enemy army announced a new toll of those injured in its ranks during the war it has been waging on Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October.
According to the enemy army's latest statistics, 4,021 soldiers were injured since the beginning of the Zionist aggression, including 598 serious injuries, 1,016 moderate injuries, and 2,407 light injuries.
The enemy army explained that since the beginning of the military incursion into the Gaza Strip, 2,032 soldiers had been injured, including 389 serious injuries, 627 moderate injuries, and 1,016 light injuries.
