HODEIDA July 04. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Bajil District, Hodeida province, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Governorate Ali Al-Kabari, discussed on Thursday measures to continue preventive measures to reduce watery diarrhea in the eastern districts of the governorate.
The meeting, which included the Director of the Health Office, Dr. Khaled Al-Madani, the Head of the Joint Operations Room at the Health Office, Dr. Alaa Jahaf, and the directors of the Eastern Directorates, reviewed what has been achieved during the last period in combating the epidemic, and the mechanism for continuing to eliminate it.
The meeting, which was attended by the mobilization officer in Bajil district, and health directors stressed the need for all parties to join hands to eliminate the epidemic of watery diarrhea.
The meeting reviewed the obstacles that may affect the handling of cases, the development of treatments to overcome them, the intensification of awareness and health education through volunteer teams, preachers and schools, and the provision of free medical and treatment services for these cases.
