TOKYO August 13. 2024 (Saba) - Japanese stocks rose in morning trading on Tokyo Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

According to Japanese media, the benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 760.55 points, or 2.17 percent, to 35,785.55 in the morning session.

The broader Topix index added 44.10 points, or 1.78 percent, to 2,527.40.
