HODEIDA August 20. 2024 (Saba) – The Orphan Development Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, the Martyrs' Families Care Foundation, and the General Authority for Endowments, distributed on Tuesday school bags to 600 orphans in Hodeida province.
At the distribution event, Province first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri praised the initiative, highlighting its importance in supporting vulnerable groups, including orphans.
He emphasized the need to address their educational needs and encourage their continued schooling despite current challenges.
Rabie Al-Turabi, Media Official at the Orphan Development Foundation, noted that the project is part of broader humanitarian efforts aimed at motivating students and supporting their educational journey.
The local authority's cooperation was key in ensuring the bags reached those in need.
The coordinator of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in al-Hawak district reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to supporting education initiatives amid ongoing difficulties.
