OCCUPIED AL-QUDS August 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist army has confirmed the deaths of five soldiers over the weekend during ongoing clashes in the Gaza Strip.
The announcement, made today, reveals that Sergeant Amit Tsadikov of the "202" battalion was killed in a battle in southern Gaza, and another soldier from the engineering battalion sustained serious injuries in a separate engagement.
The total number of Zionist soldiers killed in the Gaza Strip over the past weekend now stands at five.
The army previously acknowledged the deaths of three soldiers in battles in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, and a reserve soldier from the "6310" reconnaissance battalion, who was killed in the central Gaza Strip on Friday.
In addition, seven soldiers who were with the reserve soldier were injured, four of them seriously.
This brings the confirmed number of Zionist soldiers killed in Gaza since the conflict began to 700, including both officers and enlisted personnel.
The actual number is believed to be higher, according to Zionist media reports.
The ongoing conflict has seen continued resistance from Palestinian fighters in Gaza, who have reportedly engaged in numerous operations and ambushes against Zionist forces, leading to significant losses in both personnel and equipment.
