SANA'A August 31. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting at the Youth and Sports Office in Capital Secretariat discussed on Saturday the arrangements for the Rasul Al-Azam football tournament, which is scheduled to be launched at the beginning of Rabiul Awwal to celebrate the Prophet's birth Muhammad (PBUH) anniversary.
During the meeting, the director of the office, Abdullah Obeid, praised the interaction of the clubs to show joy and rejoice in the Prophet's birth anniversary, expressing the holiness of this occasion in the hearts of the Yemeni people, pointing out the importance of holding such competitions and sports activities in honing the skills of athletes.
For his part, the Deputy Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Zaid Jahaf, said that these competitions come within the framework of the office's priorities in caring for the youth and athletes, developing their capabilities, as well as educating and raising awareness of the importance of celebrating this great occasion.
Rajeh Al-Qadami, head of the General Football Federation in the Secretariat, reviewed the technical aspects , tournament regulations and the preparations and arrangements level to make it a success.
