GAZA August 31. 2024 (Saba) - The government media office published an update of the most important statistics of the genocidal war waged by the Zionist enemy on Gaza Strip for the 330th consecutive day.
The office said in its update, as reported by the Palestinian Media Center on Saturday: "The enemy army committed (3,537) massacres, leaving (50,691) martyrs and missing persons.
It reported that (40,691) martyrs who reached hospitals and (10,000) missing persons.
According to the office, the number of child martyrs reached 16,673, including 115 infants born and martyred in the genocidal war, 36 martyred as a result of famine, 11,269 women martyrs, 885 medical staff, 82 civil defense martyrs, and 172 journalists.
The Zionist enemy established seven mass graves inside hospitals, and 520 martyrs were recovered from these graves.
The office explained that the number of wounded reached 94,060 cases, 12,000 wounded need to travel abroad for treatment, 10,000 cancer patients face death and need treatment, 3,000 patients with various diseases need treatment abroad, about 1,737,524 infectious diseases due to displacement, and 71,338 cases of hepatitis infections due to displacement.
It noted that approximately 60,000 pregnant women are at risk due to the lack of health care, and 350,000 chronic patients are at risk due to the ban on the entry of medicines
It emphasized that 69 percent of the victims are children and women, and that 17,000 children are living without their parents or one of them, while 3,500 children are at risk of death due to malnutrition and food shortages.
The Zionist enemy targeted 177 shelters, while it continues to close all Gaza Strip crossings for the 116th consecutive day.
It pointed out that the enemy arrested about 5,000 Palestinians from Gaza Strip during the genocidal war, 310 cases of arrests of health workers, and 36 cases of arrests of journalists whose names are known ... The number of displaced people in Gaza Strip reached two million displaced people.
The enemy destroyed 200 government headquarters, 122 schools and universities completely, 334 schools and universities partially, 610 mosques completely, 214 mosques partially, three churches targeted and destroyed by the enemy, 150,000 housing units completely destroyed, 80,000 housing units rendered uninhabitable, and 200,000 housing units partially destroyed by the enemy.
The Zionist enemy assassinated 110 scientists, university professors and researchers, dropped 82,000 tons of explosives on Gaza Strip, and knocked 34 hospitals and 80 health centers out of service.
According to the daily update, the enemy targeted 162 health institutions, 131 ambulances, 206 archaeological , heritage sites, and destroyed 3,130 kilometers of electricity networks, 34 facilities, stadiums and gyms, and 700 water wells.
The initial direct losses of the genocidal war amounted to 33 billion dollars according to an update from Gaza government media office
